Ann Nicholson Brown works in photographic collage, creating unique art objects from the details of a life spent OBSERVing. Encouraged by her parents to look carefully at the world around her, she became a collector of memories and observations. Cutting, tearing and reconstructing her photographs, she determines which disparate elements work cohesively to make a new whole.
